NARRATION

Book narration is not as simple as picking up a book and reading it aloud. It's one good reason some authors feel discouraged from producing an audiobook.

Reading for several hours and then having to make corrections can seem somewhat off-putting.

It's not as difficult as many believe, and with a bit of help from Elaine, most authors or small publishers can narrate an audiobook suitable for publication.

RECORDING

The choices of how to record an audio version of your book boil down to you deciding how much time and what budget you have to spend on your project. You can use a professional studio or go down the DIY route, which is by far the least expensive option.

We've recorded audiobooks in professional studios and at home. All the books we've produced have met the necessary criteria to be distributed by the likes of Audible.

EDITING

Once you've recorded your book, it will need editing. Even the most gifted narrator will make mistakes. Mark can manage the editing process in order to remove any mistakes, including repetitions, fluffs and the inevitable glitches or external sounds. 

The audiobook will flow properly thanks to this process, and your audiobook will be an enjoyable listen for those who prefer to listen to audio than read the printed page.

PUBLISHING

We've worked with numerous publishers, both mainstream and independent. Thanks to this experience, we know the most suitable places to upload your book for sale and distribution.

We will, of course, take into account your wishes, and advise you on any costs and the time you'll need to deal with this part of your project. Again, this is a straightforward process that, with a little guidance from ourselves, is easy to negotiate.
